It is our aspiration to establish an event that encourages everyone to exercise their creativity and progress towards a healthier state of living. Through interactive art, performances and workshops, we will generate and reinforce ideas that are geared towards a unified existence.
Not only will we demonstrate the power of music and art, created with positive intentions, we will feature the various means in which alternative energy can power the performances. We will also be carbon neutral and mindful of our waste.
Each year, the festival will also recognize individuals and/or organizations that provide outstanding service within the Pacific Northwest community.

NoRey To Perform At Chop SueySeptember 07, 2011
NoRey will be performing live at Chop Suey in Seattle WA on September 15th. They will be joined by Critical Sun artists Reji LeFluer & Rob Marcus.
Seattle native Reji Lefluer blends Blues, Jazz and Funk sounds with an alternative rock foundation. Inspired by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Prince and Lenny Kravitz, Reji blends traditional pop and rock to create a sound all of his own. True to the art of traditional composition, Lefluer's songs tell the story of love & hate, peace and war, desire and will power.
Rob Marcus offers a fresh sound that touches on a remarkable array of influences. Inspired by his travels abroad, his music incorporates elements of folk, rock and world beats. As a self-taught musician, Rob Marcus' unconventional melodies satisfy a desire for the new, while his introspective lyrics explore themes both intimate and universal. His seductive vocal style is complimented by the weaving of traditional instruments with modern sounds, creating a smooth and rhythmic experience.
